XPON Wireless today agreed the sale of Tutela Networks. With over 147 mobile wireless users Tutela Networks brings a breadth of experience to XPON Wireless in the deployment of Fixed Mobile Wireless. Its innovative Mikloud platform allows XPON Wireless the flexibility to manage many fixed mobile end points remotely.
XPON Wireless will now offer Tutela product portfoilo as back up to its rural customers and allow it to deploy Fixed Mobile Wireless to customers where its local Fixed Wireless Access network doesn’t cover.
XPON Wireless has agreed to deploy its XGS 10Gbps wireless platform in Nottingham. The solution will offer up to 10Gbps carrier grade Fixed Wireless Access through its Peplink SDX platform. Service targets include Student accommodation, Business centres and Industrial estates. Service is expected to go live by the end of April with new installed lined up in Beeston, Long Easton and the City centre.
XPON Wireless has chosen the Peplink SDX platform as its core network platform. Deployment of the SDX platform offers capacity up to 12Gbps and was its key choice for deploying its new XGS 10Gbps service. The Multi-Wan architecture allows flexibility in delivering resilience and failover. Deployment of an alternative MPLS solution is made very easy through XPON Wireless network using Speedfusion with site-to-site connectivity and remote workers able to access their secure encrypted network via 1Gbps wireless links.
